In 1996, Steavy Jakubik envisioned a way to connect people with their Czech roots by guiding them to the land of their ancestors—and perhaps even introducing them to long-lost relatives. More than 2,000 travelers and 29 years later, that vision is still going strong! Over time, the journey has expanded beyond the Czech Republic to include neighboring countries, offering returning travelers fresh, unique experiences with every trip.

In 1996, Steavy Jakubik, along with her daughter Renee Valek,  took their first group of travelers back to the homeland in the Czech Republic.  Family run -- travelers become part of our Czech Heritage Tours family!
